Bears for Haiyan: A DIY Caridad Charity Bear Workshop – July 19, 2014

Pictures from the Workshop

Last July 19, 2014, we held the Bears for Haiyan: A DIY Caridad Charity Bear Workshop. This was the first ever DIY Stuffed Bear Workshop that we had for Manila Workshops under the Memory Crafters Workshop series.

Luna Manila

Teacher Couline, explained to us the materials that were used during the workshop because it was already pre-cut. She also gave a template for participants so that they would be able to create more bears at home when they have the time.

She also showed a sample on how to trace the pattern unto the fabric that you wish to use.

Both parents and kids participated during the workshop and everyone was really interested in learning how to create their own stuffed animal.

Everyone seemed to enjoy and have fun during the workshop.

Even Dad’s learned how to sew during that time.

And here’s a sample of the finished bear. You can actually make the bear in any fabric and add anyting that you would like to add, like a smile, a heart, a tummy, to make it your very own.

Again, we would like to thank BEME for being our venue sponsor for this workshop! We really loved the place and it’s soo craft friendly!
